Sydney Opera House makes World Heritage List
I was really pleased to read this morning, that Sydney's Opera House has been declared a World Heritage site. This is not the best picture of the Opera House, but I took it one morning a few years ago when I was walking to work.
Welcome to my blog! When my parents first introduced my brother and I to international travel over 15 years ago, they triggered in me a desire to travel as far and wide as possible. From family road trips and organised tours, to independent travel, alone, and with friends and colleagues, I've since had the pleasure of visiting over 45 countries on 6 continents. The Still-To-Do list remains ever-long - Antarctica and South America are high on the list. I'm passionate about travelling, photography and food, and this blog brings together my ramblings about my favourite things. Please feel free to share your comments on the blog, or you can contact me by email.
"The traveler was active; he went strenuously in search of people, of adventure, of experience. The tourist is passive; he expects interesting things to happen to him. He goes "sight-seeing." ~Daniel J. Boorstin
